I DETEST people who jump queue.. yeap.. now that I take the lrt + bus to work, I see more of the Queue Jumpers each and everyday. What’s wrong with these people, they are no small kids, they are all of adults of working age.. Professionals.. dun you even have the lil curtesy to Q.U.E.U.E? they seem to be very comfortable jumping queues and act that they are not in the wrong by jumping queues.. what make me post this entry? I encountered 3 cases of QJ, in a short span of less thn 24 hrs.. THEY ALL BLOODY CUT MY QUEUE OKAY?
1st Scenario Venue : Mama’s Kitchen (a shop selling chap fan opposite my office) Time : Lunch time 1.00pm Date : 27th Feb 2007 Description : This particular shop near my office is the only chap fan shop within walking distance in the vicinity of Damansara Heights where I work.. so u can imagine the business that they get.. practically full house everyday during lunch time. After taking your food, we have to pay at the cashier counter.. and believe me.. the queue is always that long what ever time you go.. at least a 5-10 minute queue, just to pay.. but.. hey.. u wanna eat, u have to pay, u wanna pay.. please QUEUE..rite?? apparently some ‘innocent’ looking professionals, 3 men in their 40’s in a suit and tie didn know the basic principle of queuing up to pay for their food.. whilst I was 5-people away frm the counter, out of no wer, 3 educated professional looking uncles (same race as me btw), JUMP MY BLOODY QUEUE.. and went straight to the front of the line and place their plates down, for the cashier to quote the price.. BLOODY HELL.. what made me even angrier is that the cashier ACTUALLY took the money from the uncle, with no questions asked.. WTF? Thn wat for I line up for 10 mins? @&%#^@$#
2nd Scenario Venue : Bangsar LRT station Time : Morning peak hours 7.30am Date : 28th Feb 2007 Description : its is a well known fact in Malaysia that the people here DO NOT line up for anything. Before I started taking the bus and lrt to work, I have always thought that people will just squeeze and push their way in. but not the case for CERTAIN lrt stations and bus stops* - I’ll explain that later on below. But at the Bangsar lrt station where ppl queue for the bus, people really queue.. and its always a very long queue.. VERY long queue that usually only the front-half of the queue can get on the bus. This morning, while I was queuing (the bus wasn’t there yet), as the bus arrive 10 minits later, this lady (again working professionals) just walk so selamba-ly to the front of the line.. like there is no one in line, waited for the bus door to open, AND SHE BLOODY STEP INTO THE BUS FIRST… ????????? halo.. ur mother didn teach you to queue izzit? Even my 5 yr old cousin know what is called queue la.. whats wrong with her.. I mean.. how much more ruder can she be.. worst of all, she is of the same race as me...again *malu… sigh.. when I went up the bus, I made a mistake by sitting futher away from her.. I shd hav jz sat rite behind her, and talk selamba-ly to Sean (I go to work with him) about how uneducated can ppl get by jumping queue.. stupid rite? 3rd Scenario Venue : Bangsar LRT station Time : Morning peak hours 7.30am Date : 28th Feb 2007 Description : same time n place, same queue, jz that there were this 3 students (not my race) who also selamba-ly jump the queue they were sitting down at the bus stop while ppl like me, is queuing up. When they saw the bus come, the end of the queue is like no where to be seen, so they just stood up, and join the queue FROM THE MIDDLE.. when I stared at them, one of them actually glared back at me like im in the wrong instead of them.. WTF?
* I was very very surprise when I saw people actually queuing up nicely for the lrt when I first took the lrt to my ex-ex work place in KL Sentral.. like 2 yrs ago? People actually have the curtesy to line up for the lrt.. y, you mite ask, that I was surprised?.. here's the explanation… when I 1st came up to KL to work.. I stayed in Wangsa Maju.. need I explain more? Guess I shd.. coz some of you mite not be familiar with the place.. Wangsa maju is a hell of place to stay in BECAUSE.. the number of ppl taking the lrt in the peak morning hours is HUMONGOUS.. the lrt mgmt actually have to send empty trains JUST to pick up ppl from that station.. and the lrt will be full from that station onwards. The people there do not line up, they instead, swarm the lrt, once the train arrive :-/… Sad to say again.. and not suprising as well, most of the ppl there are of my race… I experienced that situation for 1 whole year.. that’s y I was very surprised that ppl actually do queue up at certain lrt stations..
I guess when the gov did the survey about the level of curtesy of malaysians sometime last year, I wasn’t even a lil bit surprised of the outcome of the survey.. not even a tiny weeny bit..

The Real Story behind Valentine's Day..
He Lived and Died for Love
"When it comes to Valentine’s Day, there is also a true life story behind the holiday, and it has a lot to teach us about the true meaning of love, sacrifice and commitment. In the third century, the Roman Empire was ruled by Emperor Claudius II Gothicus. He was nicknamed Claudius the Cruel because of his harsh leadership and his tendency for getting into wars and abusing his people. In fact, he was getting into so many wars during the third century that he was having a difficult time recruiting enough soldiers.
Claudius believed that recruitment for the army was down because Roman men did not want to leave their loves or families behind, so he canceled all marriages and engagements in Rome. Thousands of couples saw their hopes of matrimony dashed by the single act of a tyrant. And no one seemed interested in standing up to the emperor. But a simple Christian priest named Valentine did come forward and stood up for love. He began to secretly marry soldiers before they went off to war, despite the emperor’s orders. In 269 AD Emperor Claudius found out about the secret ceremonies. He had Valentine thrown into prison and deemed that he would be put to death.
As Valentine was awaiting execution, he fell in love with a blind girl, who happened to be the jailers daughter. On the eve of his execution, with no writing instruments available, Valentine is said to have written her a sonnet in ink that he squeezed from violets. Legend has it that his words made the blind woman see again. It was a brief romance because the next day Valentine was clubbed to death by Roman executioners. St. Valentine gave his life so that young couples could be bonded together in holy matrimony. They may have killed the man, but not his spirit. Even centuries after his death, the story of Valentine’s self-sacrificing commitment to love was legendary in Rome. Eventually he was granted Sainthood and the Catholic Church decided to create a feast in his honor. They picked February 14 as the day of celebration because of the ancient belief that birds (particularly lovebirds, but also owls and doves) began to mate on that very day.
It’s surprising to know that Valentine’s Day is really founded on the concept of love in marriage. On This Valentine’s Day, what are you doing to keep the love in your marriage burning? While giving a gift and card, having a candlelight dinner, and sharing special words of l ove are all important, the true spirit of Valentine’s Day needs to last throughout the year. Valentine's Day is a day of love celebrated in the honor of Saint Valentine and his sacrifice in his attempts to bring lovers together.. so cherish the one whom you love, and who loves you unconditionally...
If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hands..
Happy 6th Valentine's Bb... I love you

tai dau har... sigh.. went to midvalley yesterday after work to get food stuffs for our steamboat this saturday.. we bought canned food, fresh meat, veges.. and lot of other edible and non edible stuffs... came back with so many plastic bags... we (me, Bb, n Sean) had to carry them.. like 5-6 bags each.. super heavy ok..? coz got drinks as well..
didn noticed that we left one of the plastic bag in the car till this morning... and of all the so many things to leave in the car over nite, we left the bag with FRESH food.. SEAfood mind you.. there are prawns, sotong, fishballs, green vege.. the bag with the smelliest stuff.. and also the most expensive bag of all...
Left it in the car OVERnight without even realising.. what a waste... :(
now gotta go get the stuffs again tonite... sighhhhhhhhh
waste my time, waste my money...

my new year resolution flew out of the window already..
Monday, February 05, 2007
wow.. its already the 2nd month of the year huh.. talk about how time flies.. its really scary if you really sit back n think about how fast time flies.. i didn even know how i spent my 1st 30days of the year...
scarier part is that it dawns to me that IM NO LONGER GETTING YOUNGER.. few years ago.. when ppl started talking to me about getting old (at 24).. i didn see them as in 'OMG.. your THAT old already??'.. i have always thought that growing older is the process of.. well.. growing..
but it seems that i JUST came to realise that im actually gonna turn 24 this year.. that a freaking big TWO and FOUR.. *sobs*... ppl say that thats the prime age.. but to me.. i jz think that im already too old for many things.. like partying of sorts.. instead of going to unorganised teenagers parties.. clubbing and all.. i now prefer to sit down happily at my home, with a few close friends.. doing stuffs like talking.. drinking.. n maybe steamboat.. thats wut grown ups do don't they? -_-"
scary...
its already been 24 years since i was born into this world its already been 7 years since i left schooling life its already been 6 years since i left home, and move 370KM away froom home, to live on my own its already been 5 years since i've been with my dear Bb.. ( 5 sweet years) its already been 3 years since i stepped into the ruthless working world its already been 3 years since i struggle financially to live on my own its been already 2 years since i got my first credit card (and im still paying for what i over-used, till now)
Super Scary.........
Dun mind me.... im just having my usual Monday morning crappyness..
