When Bb told me to take leave on my bithday, my first question to him was..
...Where are you bringing me?
...Its a suprise... dun ask.. i'll tell you on that morning itself..
lil' did he know.. i overheard his teleconversation the night b4, when i was drunk, telling someone that he's going Genting the nxt day.. LOL - Bb, now u know.. drunk ppl are actually STILL concious.. jz that they dun react to it =P
Off we went.. remember i sd i had a hangover..? yeaps.. i hung all the way up to Genting..
Bb booked a condo room in Awana Genting... my 1st reaction when i saw the room was Wow.. this bed is huugeee... can sleep 5 people!!
So i was imagining a romantic a getaway just for the 2 of us..
At Genting Skyway
Right after checking in, we went up to First World to shop around.. Bb was on the phone sms-ing the whole time, claimed to be some work issues that his colleagues were asking him about..
I should have known~
Thn he sd to go back to the room at 8.30pm coz apparently he booked a 5-course dinner-for-two meal..
Sensing something amiss right after i opened the room door, when there was no card on the card slot (coz i remembered clearly that i purposely left a room card in the slot to keep the electricity running whilst we were away)
My senses proved me right the mili-second i turned my back to slot another room card....
BOOOO~!!
Out popped Sean from the bathroom.. lol.. so he was thr to suprise me.. but him ? alone? i dun think so.. took a quick scan around the room, there was no one else in sight...
hmmmmmmm.. okaaaaaaaaayy....
the next second i turn my back to the condo balcony door...
SUPRISEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
someone yelled...
it was Wee n Bryan, hiding out there at the balcony in the cold!... man was i speechless...
U guys are the BEST i tell you...
My 5-course dinner-for-two meal turned out to be Steamboat.. with 4 of the best people i ever known... MUCH more better thn any 5-course meal any place could dish up!
Thn only i knew.. Bb actually took a day off the previous day just to buy, prepare, n cook the dishes and brought them to Wee's house in the midst of a heavy downpour.. so that they can bring it up without me noticing anything...

Rantings and ramblings: I got a terrible hangover on my birthday, totally out of action for half of my birthday-day... wat a waste!

2 weeks ago i was reading kennysiaO's blog, when i came across with these cute lil thingys.. i therefor dengan so tak-malu-nya-shamelessly ASKed for it frm siaO..
I WANT THE LADYBIRDS.. they are so cute~! im not greedy... ONE will be enough *grinning*
Came 15th june, my birthday (still hangover frm the nite before wer i got totally drunk - story saved for later)
DING DOOONGG... at 12.30pm..
Crawled up with much effort to find a Mr. Postman at my door.. and found this.. adressed to me..
hmmm.. for a moment, i tot, must be a birthday present from someone a far.. and i when i opened the box, the cutest of all cutest stickman greeted me..
awwww......he really took effort to mail it nicely to me.. im so touched..!
after i took away the stickman....................
i got the most adorable ladybird chocolates EVER staring up at me.. SEVEN of them!

Last week, mum n dad came up to Melaka.. the initial plan was to celebrate an early Father's Day (as some of you might not know, my dad got transfered to Vietnam to work 1.5 yrs ago), so we'll try to meet up each time he comes back..
After closing the shop a bit earlier *cough*Jordan*cough*.. we went to a 'Fine Dining' restaurant, recomended by one of my bestie (apparently her bf's parents operates it).. She said that there is a singer who sings oldies in there too..
puurrfect! just wut my dad likes... or so i thought...
The 'fine dining' restaurant's name is located near to Jonker Street.. When we walked into the restaurant.. hmm.. how do i actually describe.. um.. the place was.. tiny?small?squeezed?..somewer along that.. heck.. even my boutique is more thn double the size of that restaurant..
NEVER MIND... i thought.. its 'fine dining' anyway.. TILL they lead us to a table 'rsvp-ed' for me..
o.O' ............ eh.. ? a rectangular table slightly longer but narrower thn a mah-jong sized table, can sit 5 people, comfortably?? i think the size of a table-for-two i get in Victoria Station is bigger thn that, lor~~
NEVER MIND... i thought again.. mayb the food's good.. dun judge a sausage by its color rite..

my so-called Grilled salmon with spaggethi bolognese, if i were to name it, it wud be Boiled salmon in plain water with spaggethi ala no-taste!
This is the Lamb Shank my dad n my sis had.. name ala tulips will be Over-cooked Lamb till u-cant-pick-the-meat-up coz it crumbles at the touch of your fork.

After much pushing the food round the table.. we finally swallowed our food - read me.. Swallowed, ok?).. its desert time~!
they had a very fancy name for this thing but i dun even bother to remember it.. ask my sis for the name if you really wanna know.. i'll juz call it.. The Tasteless Pancake that even I can come up with a Better One.. duh!
I dun remember the names of ALL deserts, even if my life depends on it.. This pisang is even the Chef's Speciality.. my foot! its juz some goreng pisang (fried banana) topped with icecream.. even the malay stall down the road sells yummier goreng pisang i tell u~
Brownies with ice-cream.. im no choc lover, but i can tell that its not very nice.. cos my choc lover sis didn make any mmMMMMMmmmmMmmm...~ sound =P
Finally an edible desert.. sis's Apple pie.. nothing special Special actually.. but at least no complains..
Remember when i said initially its was suppose to be a father's day dinner? Well.. it ended with this :
A suprise Birthday cake for ME!.. no wonder dad was whispering whispering to the bos earlier on after we ordered....
In the end, we had a Father's day cum My Birthday celebration...
Nothing.. and i mean NOTHING(not even the sucky food), beats having 4 of my love ones celebrating it for me...

Rantings and Ramblings: I FINALLY GOT A NUFFNANG AD!! Its about time! Everyone seem to have it, but me... anyway.. i jz wanna say a very big THANK YOU NUFFNANG TEAM! *MMmmmmuahhhhhhhhhh*
I remember when i was still young.. baby actually, i used to be sent to a babysitter's home to be taken care of.. cant really recall for how long, but i think at least 4-5 yrs i was there... There was a granny who took care of me, i call her poh poh...
Over the years, after we have grown.. we still occasionally go back n visit poh poh.. coz her son is my dad's good fren.. each time we went visit.. poh poh will surely harvest a few sticks (do i call em sticks?) of sugarcane for me to brg back home to chew on.. i luuuuuurve sweet stuffs..
Me n my sis will eagerly sit down in the kitchen to watch mum slowly chop up(those thing are super hard, ok?) the sugercanes to nice bite size pieces.. thn we'll wallop them all in less thn 30mins.. LOL
Anyway.. i was so missing that kind of chewing-the-sugarcane experience.. that one of the weekends (a very rare weekend) that i didn go down to melaka, me n Bb went SS2, to get lunch.. we saw a van selling sugarcane drinks... so we went to buy the drinks.. thn i saw the freshly peeled sugarcanes besides the juicing machine...
*eyes widen* hmmmm do they sell only the sticks?
got Bb to ask if they guy only sell the sugarcane stick.. and the guy went..
keeeeeeeer yeeee, ni yao chi zhi?? (cannnnn, how many sticks u wan)
me: grinning from ear to ear like a small kid getting icecream...double scoop!
anyway.. i came back and Bb chopped em up.. we got this..
Bb cut it up into bite size.. exactly like wut my mummy did.. um.. 20 yrs ago?
Thn all u have to do is jz chew on it n let the juice flow into your mouth..down your throat... yuuuuuuuuummy..
Chew till theres no more juice coming out... u'll probably get somethg like this..

Rantings and Ramblings: Im moody~ maybe because its the time of the month again, but its not here yet.. or izzit because im pushing too hard in my work. 2 person working as a team, one going at 140kmph, another one at 10kmph.. what am i suppose to do when i reach the finishing line 1st? i have to wait for the 10kmph to reach, before i can contd doing the following steps. damn it! i hate it when things can be done in 1 week, have to be dragged to 2-3 weeks.. HATE IT! urgh~!
Im getting a car soon because i have to and because i need one, but im worried if i would have enough courage to drive it into the jungle madness of traffic in KL. i do have a driving phobia which i confessed not too long ago.
That's the least of my worries for now..
Yesterday, i got an sms from my house owner that im renting from.. which goes like this:
Hi, im planning to sell the apartment away, can you arrange your time, for the buyer to come n view the apartment this friday? Btw, will you be interested to buy the apartment? the price will be around RM170k. me:......................................................................................................
For those who didnt know, i have been staying comfortably at that apartment for more than two years.. i love the apartment, i love the place, i love the location, i love everyting about it..
I have gone thru the house-shifting process three times, in three years.. believe me, u dun wan to go thru that process.. it takes money, time, strength and affort wickedly.
Many times i have told myself that the next time im shifting, i will be shifting to my OWN house.. n staying put there till an earthquake come n rock malaysia n my house away.

Met up for a long overdue dinner with wee dearie and bryan, last friday at The Curve..
Had initial craving for sushi but someone alr makan-ed that day itself.. so we went Fasta Pasta instead.. i still remembered the 1st time i went there with Wee, we saw Bernie Chan makan-ing thr as well.. speak about good taste.. lol

Im sick

finally!
i ALMOST got sick b4 cny this year.. but the flu bug decided not to come bug me..
i ALMOST got sick b4 my trip to Bangkok in April.. but nice flu bug-gy decided to fly away too.. so that i have a good trip..
but finally the bug came n bite me.. been having this stupid soar throat since Friday nite.. thn i thought to my self, hmm.. jz heaty.. drink more water can alr..

thn sat came.. still soar throat.. plus occasional sneezing.. thn i thought.. Hmmmm.. must be the weather.. rainy n all.. jz a ah choo here n a ah choo there..

Rantings and Ramblings: I had a weird dream last nite.. dreamt that i had a baby, was in labour, suddenly after i woke up frm my labour, the baby's alr out, apparently i didn feel any pain at all down there wer it shd be.. thn i found a big scar across my tummy. so maybe i had the baby thru C-sec? Thn when i brought my baby home, oni i paniced coz i had nothing ready for the baby, no baby clothes, no baby cot, no baby milk.. nothing... WEIRD.. mayb its juz all the new mummy's talk that we had in the office.
