The New Community came out in full force on Sunday, 29th July 2007, to finally get to do what we are build to do..
Charity!
We have been yelling to do charity, ever since the Community started, and i'm proud to say that our 1st Charity community activity was a success.. Thanks to James Wong, we arrived at Rumah Love & Care Kajang after many turns into a small n quiet neighbourhood.
Personally, it was an eyeopener for me and i really felt that the love that we shared with the old folks on that day, was truly appreciated.. It was a bit emotional when i spoke to some of them, as they tell their stories of their families, their children and how long have they been there (some that i asked cant even remember!).. i even remembered there was a poh poh, who told me that she is always not feeling well, and did not lead a good life since young.. about how her mum died young, and dad was a drug addict.. and hows its better if she just left this world..
There is also an elderly there that had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. . and she is actually one of the 'younger ones' in the home at only 50plus years old (Average of age 70-85). Lavin mentioned that the doctor said that the poh poh may just leave us at any moment.
However, they still kept a cheerful face, and i can see that they were really happy to have some company, people there to talk to them, and to cheer them up.. they are so joyful with us there, a Poh Poh even sang us a song to welcome us!
Eventhough we are 1st time there visiting them, they were very comfortable with us... Another singing session by the elderly there.
Echo, Amelia's friend was also there to give out free Antioxidant Level Test to the elderly there. Amelia said that the test is fully sponsored by Echo... (each test would have cost RM15 per person)
The gal bending over there is Echo, and *ahem* feiJi.. testing out the BMI machine...
Jared had his turn too... all of us did a check on our health except for Mr Nice Guy Jordan.. haha... scared of what the results will show, Jor?

After this visit, i;m definitely looking forward to the next one.. its really feels great to have done something good, in return to the society.

Why is it that everytime i get comfortable with a job, and set my mind to stay put and build a career out of it, the company HAVE to screw things up?
A year and the half ago its was like that, now history is starting to repeat itself.. WHYYYYY???
Damn.. im not in a very good mood for the whole week, coz the company has been retrenching staffs (the co claim that they are not firing them, coz just they asked them to start looking for job!) -what kind of mentalism IS that?? its just putting 'You are fired' in a more gentle way.. duh!
Staffs who i have been so close with, and they are ppl that i know.. rely of the salary each month to feed their family.. i really feel for them.. really....
Im helping them as much as i could.. but what more can i offer other thn comforting words, and passing the word around, helping them to get a job?
Plus, im more emo coz Bb is away in Sigapore for the week,and i miss him terribly.. Wee is away in training for 2 weeks.. She'll be THE ONE.. who will understand whats going thru my mind right now..

I was not really a Harry Potter fan, and after watching Harry Potter - The order of the Pheonix, im still not a fan of Harry Potter.. haha.. i dunno y.. but i just cant click with the movie..
..and watching it at 9.15pm till midnight, on a friday night right after work, and only 5 hours sleep the night b4, adds to the injury.. i was yawning through the movie, and even closed my eyes for a bit in the middle..
too much of talking, and less action makes tulips a sleepy flower.. >_< watever~

Damn i've been having problems with the internet connection in my office this few days.. hence, the lack of posts for the week.
For starters, i couldn't log in to the New Community, then yesterday the whole day, i cant log in to blogger..
It did freak me out a lil to think that they (company) block all websites with the word 'blog'But luckily when i came in this morning and walla~ im blogging.. haha...
I've been meaning to do Cheesie's meme, but oso have been procastinating against doing it coz.. hmm.. my older pic sucks for one.. 2nd.. i havent really change my hairstlye a lot since the era of digicam, came about.. LOL.. when i was still schooling.. yeah.. it'll be boycut for a year, long hair for a year, mushroom head for a year... etc etc..
Anyway... this is gonna be a bit embarasing but... here goes my hair transformations..
1. This is the taken during my best buddy's wedding last year in JB.. didn camwhore, and its one of the very few pics we took that nite... so its the nicest i cud find.. i practically remembered rushing all the way down to JB to attend his wedding.. and i really meant rush~ k.. the hair style.. its my no-time-to-style-and-fastest-hairstyle-to-cook-up last minute hairstyle..
2. This was taken 2-3 years ago in Cameron Highlands.. the one and only time i permed my hair.. i cut it off after 4 months i had the curls coz managing the curles takes a hell lot of my time.. thats my darling sister by the way if you are wondering..
3. This is not a perfect pic of me.. but its the nicest i can find, for this hairstyle.. its layered, and also its the only time my frindge is at its longest.. (1-inch below my chin) i think..
4. Haha.. does this even count as a hairstyle? hmm... have a bad hair day? Just throw on a hat an u are good to go.. Pic taken dunring one of my Bangkok trip (and oh.. did i mention? im going there again this Aug :P) I love bangkok!!
5. This hair is styled by Ivory Romance, a bridal shop, when i have my *cough* studio photo *cough* taken.. That y u can see the inch thick of make up still on.. AND the fake lashes.. haha
6.Photo thise point onwards is gonna be a bit blur.. coz i had to scan it in.. to get the digital ones.. i had to pay extra RM150 on top of my package, for the CD... no way im gonna spend that kind marnee.. This is my favourite photo of all in the shoot.. the hair is fake lar of coz..
7. Another different shot.. in a komino.. the hair is again of coz fake, its braided, and they stuck lots of those nice pattern sticks, (see the butterfly) on to my head.. a bit like what those actresses put on their hair, if you watch the HK dramas..
8) This pic maybe familiar to you guys.. Yeaps.. its on my blogger profile.. LOL someone (i cant remember) actually asked if i was a dancer... hehe.. look like dancer mer? This was more to a modern look, coz the photographer sd dun wanna take all those gentle looking photos i.e. bridal gown la.. evening gown la... etc... He sd when i *cough*get married*cough* thn lots of opportunities to take lar.. so this is the look, they cook up last minute..
Ok... finally im done with the meme... *phew*.. now better read b4 i chg my mind and take off this post! haha..

Okay, i noticed that many of my recent posts has been all about the New Community.. but heck.. i love them and i can blog all about them whole day long!..
But i've been tagged too many a times, that i cant even remember who tagged me, so im jz gonna do a few of em'..

The New community gang crashed into Adverlets Blogger's Nite party last nite at Friendster Cafe, Damansara Perdana..
We were all again Fashionably late.. as usual... coz of *ahem*.. u-know-who :P

After our last movie's nite out for transformers, i guess everyone cant get enough of everyone.. So, the New Community bloggers met up yet again , this time, to watch Die Hard at Mid Valley.
Mr Jordan didn want me to join them for the movie, thats y he booked the 6pm slot.. haha anyways, i didn make it for the movie
*ahem* some ppl have to actually work lerrr :P
Anyways, i joined them after the movie, to have dinner. Met up with Jules first, while waiting for all the Prince n Princesses to come out of the movie..

I had the privilege of going to watch a fashion show over the weekend in Melaka, thanks to Christien for getting me a seat, two seats actually.. though i ffk for the 1st session (hmm.. actually not counted as ffk lo.. coz i informed u before hand :P) ,i made it to the 2nd evening session.
Popped over to Dataran Pahlawan with Sheryn, my bestie just in time, before the show starts.
The fashion show is organized by Esprit, for their new Spring/Summer Collections. This time, they invited star celebrities to model their clothes.. weeeee weet!

last weekend was a very eventful one, i went down to my boutique on Saturday morning as we has some stuffs to do, and came back the very same day coz i finally get to meet up with CN Community bloggers and Mr.Dashing himself with lovely Lavin, too!
We met up at 8pm, in KLCC to have a quick bite, then caught a movie together... What can you expect when you are out with celebrities?
FASHIONABLY LATE..
hahaha.. but at least the movie started AFTER we went in.. so still ok larrr..
We caught Transformers.. one word to summarize the movie..
AWESOME!!
Its definately a movie not to be missed.. its already on my "Best Movie of the Year" award.. haha.. the movie lasted for 2.5 hours, and its really worth watching... not to mention watching it with Christien, Lavin, Jordan, DoDo, Roe Jin and WaiWai.. Bb came along too ;)
Jane cameby too after our movie n join us at Starbucks.. She came straight from her flight from Adelaide, just to meet us, without even going home yet! *Hugs*
